Mental Health

Saint Philip’s Health Cabinet invites everyone to learn more about the important topic of mental health from Elizabeth Stamm, the Public Health Program Coordinator for the Pima County Health Department.

The forum will be offered at 10:15am this Sunday, April 28, in the East Murphey Gallery.

She will share how to identify and assess mental health concerns, how to help yourself and others, and offer information about resources—and how to navigate them.

A bit about Elizabeth
Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience in adult and youth behavioral/mental health and substance use disorders. She spent some of her youth working with Cree Tribal and Indigenous peoples in Canada as a missionary with her church, and has volunteered in a variety of capacities, including Peer Mediator, Youth Mentor, and Victim Services Advocate/Crisis First Responder.

Over the last decade, Elizabeth has worked in direct integrated health services, and public health education and coordination related to mental health and substance use. She believes that everyone deserves compassion, acceptance, access to mental health/addiction resources, and hope.
