Christian formation

Wednesday, October 25, will be Fr Peter’s last Mosaic, a ministry he created and shepherded over the past seven years. All are invited to participate in his final formation offering (on Christian death and hope) and enjoy a potato bar with homemade cake.

Saint Philip’s will also host 25 theological students on a border trip, so the opportunities for fellowship will be great. Many thanks to Junior Youth Leader Matti Bowen and Bonus StoryMakers Leader Kelsi Vanada for leading the charge for dinner that night.

Dinner at Mosaic
The meal at 6:00pm is possible because of generous volunteers who shop for the food and arrive early to prepare it. They craft dinners to feed 30-50 people on a very tight budget and say they find inspiration from the miracle of the fishes and the loaves.

It will help the volunteers enormously if you RSVP for dinner this coming Wednesday, October 25.

What is Mosaic?
Mosaic is a weekly gathering on Wednesdays for fellowship, formation, and prayer. The community is made up of people from different backgrounds but everyone shares an interest in nourishing their relationship with God. It’s a wonderful way to meet people involved in different ministries at Saint Philip’s and learn about ways to be of service.

You are invited to participate in all events or just one:

5:15pm Worship service in the church
6:00pm Dinner in the Murphey Gallery
6:45pm Formation in the Murphey Gallery
