An invitation
Dear Saint Philip’s community,
As colleagues on the Vestry we have discovered that we have something in common: we were all raised in the Evangelical tradition. There are numerous others at Saint Philip’s who were brought up in that same tradition.
If you share this background, then we invite you to join us on the third Sunday of every month to explore how our background informs how we move forward. The meetings are 5:00pm-6:30pm in La Paz. If you need childcare please email Kristin (preferably with a week’s notice) at kmcd.az@gmail.com.
For the next three months the group will discuss the book, "Evangelicals on the Canterbury Trail, Why Evangelicals are attracted to the Liturgical Church." On Sunday, October 15, conversation will focus on Part I of the book.
You are invited whether or not you have read the chapters to be discussed; you are invited whether or not you can come regularly or only sporadically. Your thoughts and experiences are welcomed and valued.
