Lucy’s Warbler houses

In June 2023, children and youth assembled and decorated Lucy’s Warbler bird houses. Saint Philip’s resident woodworker, Bill Donges, prepared the kits, and parishioners Susan Gamble and Nathaniel guided the assembly work.

In October 2023, the birdhouses were blessed at the Animal Faire. And now it’s time to install them for the birds’ February migration. Everyone is invited to participate!

Gather in the Children’s Courtyard at 11:15am this Sunday, February 11, to receive a map of the campus which will identify the trees ready for a bird house. Please email Mtr Taylor at taylor.devine@stphilipstucson.org if you will help with this exciting project—and if you are comfortable standing on a ladder. And if you have a hammer at home, please bring it with you.
