Antiracism discussion group

Saint Philip’s Antiracism Discussion Group will begin the new year reading a newly published book which connects the European roots of American racism with some hopeful models for the future. The group, which has been meeting since July 2020, will begin discussing The Hidden Roots of White Supremacy and the Path to a Shared American Future on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Robert P. Jones has written three books on issues of white supremacy in America. This third book takes “the story of white supremacy in America back to 1493, examining contemporary communities in Mississippi, Minnesota, and Oklahoma for models of racial repair.”

New members are invited to join the Antiracism Discussion Group, which meets at 1:00pm via Zoom on Sundays. If you have questions, please contact Shirin McArthur at shirin@shirinmcarthur.com. To register for the group, please click here.
