'Bury My Heart' starts June 6

The Saint Philip’s antiracism discussion group, which has been meeting weekly for almost a year, will begin discussing a new book on Sunday, June 6.

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was first published in 1971, and “generated shockwaves with its frank and heartbreaking depiction of the systematic annihilation of American Indian tribes across the western frontier.” We will discuss the more recent edition, so if you wish to join the conversation, purchase a printed edition published after 2001, or the Kindle edition published in 2012, which can be purchased here.

Anyone is welcome to join in the antiracism discussion group, which meets each Sunday at 1:00pm on Zoom. To register, please click here.
