What is formation at St. Philip's?

Education, Spiritual Growth, and Retreat Ministry
Take advantage of the many diverse opportunities for spiritual exploration and engagement offered by St. Philip's In The Hills Adult Formation Ministries. Choose from a variety of life-long learning offerings led by St. Philip's clergy, lay leaders, and expert community members.

The adult formation program at St. Philip's is designed to meet a variety of needs, both within our growing congregation and in the wider community as we strive to do God's work in the world. Our curriculum is designed for people in all phases of spiritual discovery, whether you are a long-term committed Christian or a curious or skeptical person, tentatively exploring issues of faith for the first time. Large and small classes and series meet at various times of the week, led by both clergy and lay teachers.

Our hope is that continuing adult formation will provide you with resources for life-long learning: new theological insights, fuel for spiritual reflection, and guidance as you strive to engage your life of faith at home and in service to the world.

Three areas of Adult Formation at St. Philip's:
