A
variety of musical groups invite your participation at St. Philip's. For information

The
Choir "Season" runs September through May.
The
St. Nicholas Choir: This choir is open to children and youth in Grades 3 -
high school, and sing at the 9 a.m. service the third and fourth Sundays of the
month, as well as Christmas Eve and Easter. Rehearsals are weekly.
Schola
Cantorum: A small auditioned ensemble. Sing at Choral Evensong, 4:00 p.m.
the third Sunday of the month, and special seasonal services as announced.
St.
Philip's Singers: adult volunteer and staff singers. Rehearse weekly and sing
at the 9 a.m. service; first Sundays they join the Canterbury Choir at both the
9 and 11:15 a.m. services; third Sundays they sing at the 11:15 a.m. service.
Canterbury
Choir: a twenty-five voice auditioned ensemble. Rehearse weekly and sing at
the 11:15 a.m. service; first Sundays they join the St. Philip's Singers at both
the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services.

Summer
Choir: In June, July, and August, a volunteer choir sings for either the 9
or 11:15 a.m. service (alternating monthly). Simply show up 30 minutes before
service time for rehearsal. Everyone is welcome.
Choir
Chimes and St. Philip's Ringers: Handbell training for elementary school (Choir
Chimes) and middle/high school students (St. Philip's Ringers); provides training
in reading music and acquiring basic skills in ringing handbells. Rehearsals are
weekly.
Mission
Ringers: This
group of adults welcomes ringers of all levels, novice to seasoned ringer, for
weekly rehearsal and occasional ringing in church services and community events.
Instrumentalists:
provide special music at various worship services.
After
School Music and Homework Help Program: Monday through Thursday afternoons
during the school year for children aged 7-10. Includes intensive choral experiences,
music instrumental and theory lessons, homework supervision, and mentoring.
Friends
of Music: The mission of Friends of
Music is to enrich the musical experience of the parish and community through
events such as concerts, outreach, education, scholarships, commissions, and support
of special musical events.
