ORGANS,
PIANOS, HARPSICHORD:
Sanctuary Instrument
The Holtkamp Organ Company of Cleveland, Ohio created and installed a large-scale,
custom pipe organ as part of the 50th anniversary expansion of the church sanctuary
in 1986. The organ is comprised of a three-manual console controlling over 45
ranks within a functional casework and organ loft. The instrument has electro-mechanical
action for both the stops and the rank chests. The casework surrounds the narthex
and faces the sanctuary. It contains ranks of the Pedal and Positiv divisions
at 8' and 4' pitches, as well as an 8' Fanfara rank mounted en Chamade
over the center aisle. Ranks for the remaining Great, Pedal, Positiv and Swell
divisions of the instrument are mounted in the loft directly above the casework.
In the summer of 2005 a new Trumpet stop was added to the Swell division, and
the Swell Mixture was revised by Hupalo & Repasky Pipe Organs, LLC, of San Leandro,
CA. More recent additions to the instrument include four pedal stops manufactured
by the Walker Technical Company of Zionsville, PA. The instrument is now played
from an Aeolian-Skinner console with greater functionality than the original Holtkamp
console. For a detailed stop list and other information about the organ please
